Lovely Idol – The End

It still hurts

After that performance I felt like crying, too. Strangely enough I somehow enjoyed this show and even looked forward to each episode.

Sometimes I’m amazed by myself.

Iriya no Sora UFO no Natsu

Iriya no Sora UFO no Natsu is a little 6 episode gem among all anime series. Maybe the story about one girl’s fight against aliens for all of humankind isn’t one of the most original ones, but I really like how the aliens are kept mysterious and the fight against them is, while always important for the plot, only displayed marginally. This way the short time that is available can be used for the character and relation development with all its happy and (consequently) sad aspects. Likeable set of characters in a not too long, yet somehow too short, touching story.

And the “dance” is one of my favorite scenes in all animes.

Because of the present situation

May 23, 2007

Damn you, eighth episode!

Edit: Posted this after having seen <spoiler>Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann<spoiler> and <another>Claymore<spoiler> shortly after another. Note that I don’t hate these episodes themself, but the things happening there are so, uhm, irreversible.

Mai Kawasumi

Hmm…, Mai Kawasumi from Kanon. I’ve used this wallpaper already before the new version of Kanon aired, so it’s artwork is definitely either from the 2002 version or from the game. I would bet on the later one, but am not sure. I’ve found the 2002 version to be rather mediocre (but still enjoy- and watchable enough to add its wallpaper to my list) and thus I was doubtful about the need of its new incarnation 2006 at that time. Well, in the end it was a clear win for me, so I think they have chosen… wisely. Mai is, quite easily to guess, my favorite character in both versions. And btw she is (supposed to be) exactly one year younger than me.
