Yoake mae yori ruriiro na – Crescent Love 08 & 09December 4, 2006
I just don’t know what episode 8 was about. Somehow Tatsuya had to fight Feena in kendo (not Jürgen as I expected from the preview) to show Karen that he is worth to be together with her. Well, he’s inferior to Feena in a test fight and after a week training with the pesky reporter guy
he is still inferior to her, doing basically the same mistakes from the test fight again. Then they both laugh and Karen tells them that she’ll now support them. Meanwhile the other characters show that they will support them, too (except for the “bad ones” of course).
Special attention prize goes to Midori for lolling on Natsuki’s desk
and for her attempt to cheer up Feena with some manga.
And this one I post because I can:
Okay, on to episode 9. The last little obstacle left in Tetsuya’s and Feena’s way to become a official couple is the agreement from the lunar king. Until then the whole thing has to be keep secret, which isn’t very hard because the only person they are talking to who doesn’t know about it is Midori. And Midori is pretty dense.
The musical insert at the time Feena was walking to her first date with Tetsuya nearly put me over the edge. At least the animation at that time was better.
The music stopped early enough, so Tetsuya didn’t had to strangle Feena to death in order to stop it.
This way they can have a nice talk on the bench about leaves and their political, social and cultural importance in modern society of earth and moon,
while being watched by Wraith stealthy hovering above the monument they are sitting in front of.
After short time Wraith has enough talk about leaves and gets angry
and becomes Fiacca, the voice in her head (a pretty hot one I’d like to say).
Good thing she did so, because I was nearly falling asleep at that time and this Wraith/Fiacca stuff was way more interesting then the whole stuff that happened before. Fiacca is on for the kill of Tatsuya, first attacking him with stones, then with… leaves???
Do they want to tell me anything with these leaves? Is there any special symbolism in leaves? I only know that leaves where already a pretty stupid weapon back in the Megaman times. Paper is a much better weapon. While running away from the leaf-attack, Tatsuya and Feena don’t watch the steps
and have to go back to start.
Fiacca appears again and begins to tell them the reason why she doesn’t want them to become a couple. By doing so they only would cause a new war between moon and earth to happen and because Fiacca is the incarnation of the pain the people had to suffer in the past war she wants to avoid any new war.
Noble quest, but conducted badly because I’m sure that Feena and Tatsuya will accomplish this by getting together. Feena can at least convince Wreath to stop the attack and then Wreath convinces Fiacca to give them some time. But she’ll be back (I hope).
In the end she tells Feena that Karen was arrested on the moon by Jürgen (who plans a coup d’état I’m pretty sure of). Now Feena is pissed.
Hopefully she’ll restore the order on the moon by changing in space marine mode again, but presumable she’ll try to talk her way through.
